The report is easy. Proving it is the hard part.
Somewhere in your company the numbers already exist. They live in fourteen spreadsheets, three inboxes and one very tired sustainability manager. AfriESG puts the data, the evidence and the report in one place, so when the auditor, the bank or the board asks, you can show your work.

Collect and prove
Metrics by site and period, evidence attached to every number, someone enters, someone checks, someone signs.
Measure what matters
Carbon across three scopes, a readiness score, a performance score, and a risk register that costs nothing to fill honestly.
Report without the panic
IFRS S1 and S2, GRI, NSE, CBK and the board pack, filled from approved data with a name behind every figure.

We spent years helping Kenyan companies fill in other people's templates. The numbers were usually fine. The paperwork behind them rarely was. That gap is the whole company.
Built by people who have sat in the room when the auditor asks for the file.
A rating that cannot survive an auditor is not a rating, it is a brochure. So readiness and performance are scored apart, the rating comes from performance alone, and a fifth of every score is whether you can show the document.
Kenya first, then Nigeria and East Africa. Companies first, then the AfriESG Rating, then portfolio intelligence for the banks and funds that lend to them.
Everything between the first spreadsheet and the signed-off disclosure.
Start with data management and carbon. Add suppliers, portfolios and the AfriESG Rating as the company grows. It is one platform and one set of numbers, whichever door you come in through.
All eight solutions ›
Why we started"Every bank we spoke to had the same problem. The data existed. Nobody could prove it. We built the scoring the other way round, so that honesty is the easiest route to a good number."
Eight steps, in the order the work actually happens.
The left-hand menu is the method. You go top to bottom, and nothing gets scored until you have decided what matters.
Set up
Tell us about the company and its sites. We suggest which rules apply.
What matters
Ask your stakeholders, then pick the topics that count. This comes first, always.
Collect
Numbers by site and period. Someone enters, someone checks, someone signs.
Measure
Carbon across all three scopes, a readiness score, a performance score, a risk register.
Improve
The platform works out the gaps. You turn them into actions with owners and dates.
Report
IFRS S1 and S2, GRI, NSE, CBK and board packs, each number traceable to who approved it.
Readiness and performance, scored apart.
The AfriESG Rating comes from performance only. Global raters score whether you publish a report. We score whether you actually perform, and we can prove it to an auditor.
The anti-greenwashing rule
Every topic is scored 40 percent on whether the thing exists, 40 percent on how it is going, and 20 percent on whether you can show the paperwork. No evidence, no score above 80.
Honesty is free
Listing your risks never lowers your score. Leaving known problems unfixed does, and even that is capped.
The regulators you answer to are already inside.
Not a global template with a country dropdown. Kenyan requirements are mapped metric by metric, with Nigeria and the rest of the continent following.
Kenya first. Africa next.Boring where it should be boring.
Tenant isolation
Row-level security in the database. Your data is invisible to every other customer, and we test that on every release.
Encryption
AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit. Every evidence file carries a SHA-256 fingerprint your auditor can check.
Audit trail
Who entered it, who returned it, who approved it, when. Logged once, never edited.
Backups
Encrypted daily, restore-tested monthly. Aligned with the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019.
See it with a company like yours.
We do not demo with slides. Tell us your sector and we will walk you through a manufacturer, a bank or an agribusiness on the real platform, in about thirty minutes.
Pilots are open now. The platform launches in the first quarter of 2027.
